		<description>I&#039;m glad that you found it interesting.  I haven&#039;t attempted APLP on spoken speech, but I expect that it would work.  I have interests in expressive speech synthesis too, but I haven&#039;t managed to pursue it yet.</description>

Just had a read of your dissertation - congratulations on a nice bit of research.  As a speech postgrad myself, I can appreciate the trials and tribulations of a PhD and I&#039;m glad to see fellow researchers make it through to the other side!

My own work is in a similar vein, and I&#039;ve found reading your work quite stimulating - ever considered applying your methods to spoken speech as opposed to singing?
